FIELD NOTES / CORDYCEPSNot part of our regular culinary lineup. Although some people use cultivated cordyceps in infusions or foods, it is primarily sought as a specialty fungus rather than for its eating qualities.
Its composition varies with species, substrate and processing. No standard serving or proven effective wellness dose exists.
Cordyceps is commonly promoted for energy, endurance, oxygen use and immune support. Small studies suggest potential performance effects, but results are inconsistent and human evidence is not strong enough to establish those claims.
